Adventures of a Film Geek

My previous video, now on youtube!

October Horror Films

Going to try to watch lots of horror films on the run up to Hallowe’en, in each of these short entries I’ve included the IMDB link to find out more about each film.

Last viewed was Trick ‘r Treat, the classic modern Hallowe’en anthology film. Great film with loads of unexpected twists. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0862856/combined

Full Avengers trailer explodes online!
The Avengers trailer has hit Apple and it’s - no question - our favourite of the year. It’s packed with everything we could hope an Avengers trailer could deliver - and more. Our favourite bits? - Iron Man’s city flights.- Black Widow’s return to thigh-based neck-snapping antics.- Captain America with a machine gun!- Nick Fury with a rocket launcher!- Thor Vs. Cap!- Where’s the Hulk? WAIT, THERE HE IS![TO SEE THE TRAILER, CLICK ON THE IMAGE OR FOLLOW THIS LINK]

So bloody good!

I’m currently watching The Strangers! Not a clue what’s coming after that…

For some reason I love spotting posters for films in other films. Such as this one for Die Another Day in Shaun of the Dead! Their cool because they show perfectly the exact time and place of film within weeks.  Another of my faves is spotting Men in Black in the French film Taxi. :)
I also remember seeing a poster for Fellowship of the Ring during Dirty Pretty Things
Does it pull you out of the film, do you ignore it or does it just make you giggle?
